Adrian Bass

Biography: Adrian is the Director of the Capital Quality Initiative (CQI) at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan.  CQI’s mission is to inspire continuous improvement and excellence through learning opportunities for individuals and organizations to promote quality.

The vision is to be a leader in the community as a source of knowledge and expertise in quality and continuous improvement through curiosity, passion and learning.

Adrian’s previous work experience is quite varied – including teaching computer software to business people for fourteen years and working as a school camp teacher for fifth and sixth grade students at an outdoor education center before that.  She is a life-long educator and learner, who graduated from Michigan State University with bachelors and masters degrees in education.

Adrian lives in Charlotte, Michigan with her husband and five beagles on a 75 acre farm, where they have beehives and sell honey for a hobby.
