What's Old?  What's New?  What's Next?

Happy 2017!

Sixteen years ago (What's Old?), fellow believers in the possibilities of working together and learning together, amplified by the ability to think together, formed the In2:InThinking Network, a non-profit corporation, as a means to an end, hosting an annual Forum.   We are in the midst of planning our next annual international Forum, set for June 7-11, 2017, to be hosted for the third year in a row by a most gracious partner, Woodbury University in Burbank, California.

Under the title of "Know" Less - "Learn" More - INNOVATE!, coupled with "Discover Our Future" as the sub-title, our 5-day program integrates 3 days of Pre-Conference sessions with a Weekend Conference.    As we did in 2016, we are offering a $300 (non-refundable, but transferable) pre-registration fee for the first 50 registrants to our Weekend Conference, with details at this link for registrations received before before midnight (Pacific Time) on Sunday, March 5th.

Stay tuned for the opening of our registration on Monday, March 6th, with a $50 discount for registrations received on or before midnight (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, April 26th, leading to our regular registration rate of $400.

Meanwhile, in the "What's New?" category, beginning this month, we are hosting the monthly 90-minute webinar, (details at) "Thinking Together About...", assuming this hosting role from Aerojet Rocketdyne, where this series began in 2012.    In addition, we are also assuming the hosting role for the monthly (details at) "Ongoing Discussion" conference call series, hosted for 17 years by Bill Bellows for Aerojet Rocketdyne.   With Bill's retirement from Aerojet Rocketdyne to join The W. Edwards Deming Institute, this series, as well as the webinar series, will be hosted every month on join.me by members of the In2:InThinking Network.   While the calls are no longer toll-free for those joining by phone, they are accessible through Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) through join.me, which also provides access through local phone numbers
(vs. long distance calls.)

In assuming the hosting roles for both the webinar and conference call series, we turn to our members for contributions to help us offset the added annual operating expenses ($1,500) of these two new programs.   Link here to make a donation to support our efforts.   Thanks!

Also in the category of "What's New?," beginning last week (January 25th, with regrets on the late notice), The Deming Institute will now host the study sessions of Dr. Deming's book, The New Economics, with Tim Higgins as host, a role he's played for the past 10+ years when the calls were hosted by Aerojet Rocketdyne.    These 14-hour sessions, divided into seven 2-hour conference calls (3-5pm Pacific Time), will be hosted three times a year, starting in January, July, and October.   Go to this link for details on the current session, which ends on February 22nd.   With registrations still coming in, it's not too late to join!

As to "What's Next?", our inaugural "Thinking Together About..." webinar is set for Thursday, February 9th, from 11:30am-1pm Pacific Time.    Doug Krug will be the Thought Leader for this month's "Thinking Together About..." webinar, continuing his 5-year focus on Leadership.   Link here to register to attend.   Link here to learn about Doug.

As to our inaugural conference call, Ravi Roy joins us on February 23rd and 24th (from 11am-12pm and 12-1pm Pacific Time on both days) for this month's "Ongoing Discussion," with a focus on "meeting the complex challenges facing higher education with a shift from silos to systems."   Link here to register to attend.   Link here to learn about Ravi.

We look forward to your participation!

NEW - Forum Video Subscription Service

Through the services of Vimeo on Demand, we now offer a video subscription series. Select videos from our Forum catalog are available for online viewing for a low monthly fee (launching at $5 per month), with new videos from our 15-year library added quarterly. Eventually, our entire Forum video library will be viewable through this subscription series, with monthly rates maintained at the level at which subscribers join. This will be a great way to revisit some of your favorite presentations or see speakers you missed.
